Baseball: Former JSerra catcher Austin Hedges is joining the Padres

Former JSerra catcher Austin Hedges is being called up by the San Diego Padres, JSerra Coach Brett Kay said on Sunday after speaking with Hedges and his agent, Scott Boras.
Hedges, 22, a second-round draft pick by the Padres in 2011, has been off to a great start in Triple A.
