Basketball: State championships begin at Haas Pavilion

Two days of CIF state championships in prep basketball begin at Haas Pavilion in Berkeley.
Today’s finals begin with the Division V girls’ final between La Jolla Country Day and Eastside College Prep at 10 a.m.
Then comes Division V boys between Sierra Canyon and San Francisco University at noon.
At 2 p.m., Brea Olinda takes on Bishop O’Dowd in Division III girls.
At 4 p.m., Damien plays Campolindo in Division III boys.
At 6 p.m., Gardena Serra faces McClatchy in Division I girls.
At 8 p.m., Chino Hills faces San Ramon Valley in Division I boys.
