Birmingham High’s football stadium and track facility has been reopened for outside use after being temporarily closed while the school investigated concerns whether it was in compliance with the Americans with Disabilities Act, Athletic Director Rick Prizant said.
Principal Bill Parks gave clearance that will allow the largest stadium in the San Fernando Valley to host the City Section track and field finals on May 29, along with three league finals and lacrosse finals.
The school will take some interim steps to help comply with ADA standards.
