Boys’ basketball: Howie Levine to be honored at all-star event

Longtime Van Nuys Grant Coach Howard Levine will receive a lifetime achievement award as part of the L.A. Classic All-Star Basketball Game that will be held on Saturday at East L.A. College.
The event matches top players from the City Section. The Valley region plays the South region at 3:30 p.m., followed by East vs. the West at 5 p.m.
Players from Chatsworth, Cleveland, El Camino Real and Cleveland are scheduled to play for the Valley Region.
Admission is $10.
