Boys’ basketball: Notre Dame’s Chance Goring is playing in England this week

Chance Goring, a 6-foot-3 junior at Sherman Oaks Notre Dame, isn’t playing with the Knights this week in San Diego.
Instead, he’s playing for the England 18U national team in a tournament in Manchester.
His father is from England, so he has a British passport.
His teammates are enjoying his American accent.
Notre Dame can’t wait until he returns. The Knights lost to Oak Park on Monday, 66-45. Chibueze Jacobs scored 30 points for Notre Dame. Riley Battin had 20 points and 12 rebounds for Oak Park.
