Boys’ basketball: Rancho Mirage is 29-0

Rancho Mirage keeps winning. The team is 29-0 after a 105-81 win over Adelanto on Friday night in a Southern Section 3A playoff game. Charles Neal finished with 30 points.
Chaminade defeated No. 4-seeded Yorba Linda, 59-46. Michael Wilson scored 13 points and had 10 rebounds.
Ryan Murphy scored 29 points in Calabasas’ 76-53 win over La Sierra.
Jon Stretsky had 27 points and Chibueze Jacobs added 24 points and 19 rebounds in Notre Dame’s 76-59 win over Lompoc. Harvard-Westlake defeated Workman, 72-31. Wolfgang Novogratz scored 16 points.
Viewpoint defeated St. Paul, 51-47, with Christian Juzang scoring 19 points. Brentwood defeated Santa Clara, 76-45. Dylan Horn had 14 points.
Brentwood Woods made a three at the buzzer to give Palm Desert an 88-87 win over Dominguez.
Harlan Maass made a shot at the buzzer to give Claremont a 64-63 win over West Ranch. Hart defeated Silverado, 55-41, with Cameron Fuller scoring 13 points.
Freshman Jaime Jaquez scored 35 points in Camarillo’s 80-50 win over Beckman.
La Canada defeated San Luis Obispo, 58-32.
Lynwood defeated Sunny Hills, 77-63.
Mike Meadows scored 20 points, Luis Osorio 19 and Jordan Cohen 18 in Campbell Hall’s 68-57 win over Trinity.
Highland received 17 points from Deshay Gipson in a 59-52 win over Summit.
Riley Battin scored 23 points in Oak Park’s 48-40 win over Arlington.
Santa Monica defeated Valley View, 88-82. Jonah Mathews had 27 points.
Burbank advanced to its first quarterfinal since 2010 with a 50-40 upset of El Toro. Ellie Hanno had 14 points. Burbank will face Loyola. Burroughs defeated Beaumont, 68-42. Steven Hubbell had 17 ponts.
