Boys’ basketball: Sacramento Sheldon is banned from playoffs

The Sac-Joquin Section banned Sacramento Sheldon’s boys’ basketball team from post-season action this season, reduced the number of games it can play next season from 27 to 24 and ruled five players ineligible after concluding multiple violations of CIF rules had been committed, according to the Sacramento Bee.
Specifically, the section alleged that “several instances of undue influence” had occurred.
