Football: San Marino (4-0) is rolling up passing statistics second to none
- Share via
San Marino (4-0), ranked No. 3 in the Southern Section Central Division, is putting up offensive statistics that you can’t help but pay attention to.
Quarterback Carson Glazier, a 6-foot senior, has completed 81% of his passes for 1,335 yards and 18 touchdowns with zero interceptions in four games.
J.P. Shohfi has caught 32 passes for 621 yards and nine touchdowns.
Coach Mike Hobbie is a former college assistant who moved to San Marino from the Fresno area in 2011. Yes, he likes to pass the ball.
Now the competition hasn’t exactly been Pac-5 caliber. San Marino defeated Arroyo, 49-10; defeated Sierra Vista, 84-6; defeated Schurr, 63-0, and defeated California, 63-19.
But the Titans sure know how to pass the football.
