Football: Santa Monica intends to put up brick wall up front

Santa Monica Coach Travis Clark doesn’t know how many games his team will win this season or how many points it will be able to score, but he does have the best defensive line in his coaching career.
Back for Santa Monica is 6-foot-2, 227-pound defensive end Terrance Jackson, who had 20 sacks, plus 6-3, 252-pound Cayden Burns and 6-3, 248-pound Dearryus Dorsey. They’re all seniors.
“They’re absolutely the best,” Clark said.
So if there’s some 3-0 and 10-3 games, Clark won’t mind as long as Santa Monica comes out on top. And good luck to opponents trying to run the ball.
