Football: Soccer player comes to the rescue at Alemany

All summer, Alemany Coach Dean Herrington was feeling restless. He knew his team was missing a key component: a kicker.
What coach hasn’t had a nightmare that a trip to the championship game was lost because of a missed extra point?
“I need a kicker,” Herrington said.
Asked if he were having sleepless nights, Herrington said, “No doubt.”
Well, it appears that Alemany has found a kicker in soccer player Alejandro Navarro, who has been receiving lessons from former Washington kicker Erik Folk.
“I feel better now,” Herrington said.
Alemany is considered the favorite to win the new Mission League.
