When it comes to the big boys up front, the offensive linemen, the Trinity League will have its share of big-time blockers to watch.
Among the senior class, Frank Martin of Mater Dei (6-foot-5, 300 pounds) is headed to USC. Logan Bathke of Orange Lutheran (6-4, 250) is an Oregon commit. Luke Wattenberg of JSerra (6-4, 275) is a Washington commit.
Then there’s 6-4, 295-pound junior Wyatt Davis of St. John Bosco. He might be the best junior in the Southland. There’s also 6-2, 275-pound junior Brett Neilon of Santa Margarita and 6-2, 275-pound senior Nick Harris of JSerra.
Nathan Smith of Murrieta Mesa has received respect. He’s 6-7, 275 pounds and a USC commit. Francisco Perez of Baldwin Park (6-3, 300) is committed to California, along with 6-5, 285-pound Daniel Juarez of Corona Centennial.
In the City Section, 6-6, 245-pound Alex Akingbulu of Narbonne is only in his second year playing football but has scholarship offers from UCLA, Michigan and Tennessee, among others.
