Transfers become eligible on Monday

On Monday, the sitout period ends for winter athletes who transferred withouth moving. That means get ready to re-arrange basketball rankings and re-evaluate teams.
In the City Section, Birmingham picks up Deschon Winston, a transfer from El Camino Real, just in time for a Monday game against Fairfax. Taft gets Kesean Davis, a 6-foot-7 transfer from Price who should help make the Toreadors much better.
In the Southern Section, Cathedral picks up Daron Henson, a transfer from Alemany. St. John Bosco is adding two players.
In girls’ basketball, Fairfax is adding Fatou Semebene, a transfer from View Park who’s considered one of the top players in the City Section.
Long Beach Poly adds standout Jasmine Jones, a transfer from West Torrance.
