Track & Field: Stars are out at Arcadia Invitational

The night session has begun at the Arcadia Invitational, where some of the top track and field athletes in the nation will compete in the Invitational Division.
Some of the standouts are Mater Dei’s Curtis Godin, who has the fastest 100 and 200 meter times in the state this season, Heritage hurdler Torrey Atkins and Long Beach Poly sprinter Ariana Washington, the reigning girls state 100 and 200 meter champion.
Loyola edged Fresno Edison by eight hundredths of a second to win the boys 4x100 relay in 41.61 seconds and in the girls 4x100, St. Mary’s Academy won in 46.72.
