Kings’ Jonathan Quick shuts out Colorado Avalanche, 4-0

Jonathan Quick made 15 saves and the Kings earned a 4-0 exhibition victory over the Colorado Avalanche.
Dustin Brown, Kyle Clifford, Trevor Lewis and Marian Gaborik scored for the Kings, who open their regular season against San Jose on Wednesday. Reto Berra made 28 saves for Colorado.
The game was played at the MGM Grand. Las Vegas and Quebec City are vying for NHL expansion franchises.
