The Lakers will be short-handed Saturday against the Portland Trail Blazers.
Reserve guard Lou Williams will miss the game because his grandfather died, the Lakers announced.
Williams is averaging 12.3 points and 2.4 assists in 24.9 minutes. It was not known whether he would play Sunday against Indiana.
Williams, 29, signed a three-year, $21-million deal with the Lakers as a free agent.
The Lakers (2-12) have struggled mightily in Portland over the years, losing 14 of their last 18 there.
The Trail Blazers feature a strong, young backcourt tandem of Damian Lillard and C.J. McCollum. They average a combined 45 points a game.
