NFC notes: David Johnson continues to roll for the Cardinals

The NFC from A to Z:

Arizona: David Johnson’s 157 rushing yards in a 33-21 victory over the 49ers are the most by a running back this season. He also had two touchdowns.

Atlanta: Receiver Aldrick Robinson and tight end Austin Hooper both had their first career touchdown catch last week, against the Panthers.

Carolina: The Panthers’ offensive line has surrendered 13 sacks. Starting defensive ends Kony Ealy and Charles Johnson have yet to record a sack.

Chicago: The Bears ruined the opening of Lucas Oil Stadium with 29-13 victory in 2008 and ruined Andrew Luck’s debut in 2012 with a 41-21 win in the season opener.

Dallas: Dak Prescott has thrown a rookie-record 131 passes without an interception to start his career. The Cowboys lead the NFL with eight rushing touchdowns.

Detroit: Matthew Stafford tied career-high with five touchdown passes in a win over the Eagles last season. Three of those went to the now- retired Calvin Johnson.

Green Bay: The Packers have limited their opponents to an NFL-best 1.8 yards rushing per play. Corner Sam Shields (concussion) could miss his third game.

Minnesota: Sam Bradford has four touchdown passes and no turnovers in three starts for Vikings. His 105.5 passer rating is third-best in the league.

New Orleans: Left tackle Terron Armstead (knee) and linebackers James Laurinaitis (quadriceps) and Dannell Ellerbe (quadriceps) could all return after the bye.

N.Y. Giants: Eli Manning is 11-16 in games on Sunday night. The Giants are one win from joining the Bears and the Packers as the only franchises with 700 wins.

Philadelphia: The Eagles are one win away from their best start since 2004, when they went 7-0 and reached the Super Bowl, a game they lost to the Patriots, 24-21.

RAMS: Quarterback Case Keenum is 8-3 as a starter over the last three seasons. His quarterback rating of 77.3 is 36th among 45 NFL passers.

San Francisco: Blaine Gabbert was sacked seven times by the Cardinals on Thursday after the 49ers had previously surrendered three in four games.

Seattle: The Seahawks are 18th in the NFL with 93 yards rushing per game, down from last season, when they averaged the third-most overall (141.8).

Tampa Bay: Jameis Winston has turned the ball over nine times in the last three games. The Buccaneers’ defense is giving up more than 32 points a game.

Washington: Jordan Reed has the most catches by a tight end (25). The Redskins have forced an NFL-high 25 fumbles since the start of the 2015 season.
