More former Rams coaches are on the move.
The Miami Dolphins announced Thursday that former Rams linebacker coach Frank Bush had joined Coach Adam Gase’s staff and the Cleveland Browns announced that former Rams defensive line assistant Clyde Simmons had joined Coach Hue Jackson’s staff, which includes former Rams defensive coordinator Gregg Williams.
Bush coached Rams’ linebackers the last four seasons, tutoring players such as Alec Ogletree and Mark Barron.
Simmons moves up to defensive line coach after spending five seasons with the Rams working under Mike Waufle. Simmons helped develop players such as three-time Pro Bowl tackle Aaron Donald and two-time Pro Bowl end Robert Quinn.
Waufle and former Rams offensive coordinator Rob Boras were hired by the Buffalo Bills. Boras will coach tight ends.
New Rams Coach Sean McVay has announced only one staff member — defensive coordinator Wade Phillips.
Greg Olson is expected to join the staff as quarterbacks coach, and John Fassel is expected to be retained as special teams coordinator.
