Update: USC (12-3, 1-1 in Pac-12 Conference play) would surpass its win total from the 2014-15 season with a victory against Arizona State (10-4, 0-1). The Trojans defeated the Sun Devils, 67-64, in the first round of the Pac-12 tournament last season.
Arizona State is guided by first-year Sun Devils Coach Bobby Hurley, who previously guided Buffalo to its first NCAA tournament appearance in Division I. Four Sun Devils players are averaging in double figures in scoring, led by sophomore guard Tra Holder at 15.2 points.

USC has six players averaging double figures in scoring, and the starters are averaging between 11.9 and 13.3 points per game. The Trojans have made a Pac-12-best 130 three-pointers.
