Hayes, 6 feet 4 and 249 pounds, is from Belleville, Mich.
Smith, 6-7 and 264 pounds, plays at Murrieta Mesa High.
Pollard, the son of former Trojans player Marvin Pollard, is a 6-1, 183-pound safety at Gardena Serra.
USC is bound by the agreements, but the players are not.
