Snoop Dogg’s advice for son does not apply to USC

Snoop Dogg has plenty of advice for his son, Cordell Broadus, but it seems to go out the window when the situation involves USC.
Snoop was at the Under Armour All-American game at Tropicana Field in St. Petersburg, Fla., on Friday to watch Broadus play.
Broadus, a receiver in the 2015 class, has multiple scholarship offers -- including one from the Trojans.
When asked by an ESPN reporter what advice he gives his son about his recruitment, Snoop said, “Go where you are wanted, not where you want to go.”
The reporter followed up: “Even if it is not USC?”
“Well, that’s different, hold on now, wait a minute,” Snoop said.
USC has commitments from three receivers -- Riverside City College’s Isaac Whitney, Long Beach City College’s De’Quan Hampton and Jacksonville (Fla.) First Coast High’s Tristan Payton -- and is not expected to look for any others.
Broadus caught two passes for 13 yards in the Under Armor game.
