Vietnam: Culinary tour links travelers with food, culture

Eat and drink your way through Vietnam, from Ho Chi Minh City (Saigon) to Hanoi, on a nine-day culinary tour that focuses on connecting travelers with the culture and people of Vietnam. Organized by Access Trips, the tour includes stops at the UNESCO World Heritage Site of Hoi An and the former imperial capital of Hue. Participants will learn how to cook Vietnamese dishes during cooking classes, market tours with chefs and events such as dinners in a colonial mansion and royal garden house.
Dates: Jan. 31-Feb 8, March 21-29, May 2-10, July 18-26 and Nov. 7-15.
Price: Rates begin $2,990 per person, double occupancy, including eight nights of accommodations, most meals, cooking classes, bilingual guides, sightseeing, ground transportation, airport transfers and domestic airfare from Saigon to Danang and Hue to Hanoi. International airfare is not included.
