Special to The Los Angeles Times
Bullfights are held in California from March to October. Many are in small towns of the San Joaquin Valley, such as Gustine, about 280 miles north of Los Angeles. But some venues are much closer.
In honor of the Festa do Divino Espírito Santo, there’s a bullfight at 6 p.m. Monday at 11903 Ashworth St., Artesia. Tickets cost $25 for adults, $12 for children ages 6 to 12, free for ages 5 and younger.
Call (562) 865-4693. For a list of upcoming bullfights, go to www.californiabullfights.org.
