Oregon beer fest on tap

20th annual Oregon Brewers Festival: Seventy-two beer-makers pour their brews for about 50,000 thirsty visitors. Festivities include the Brewers Dinner and the Brewers Brunch & Parade.
When, where: July 26 to 29 at Tom McCall Waterfront Park, Portland; main entrance at Southwest Oak Street and Southwest Naito Parkway.
Admission: Free. Beer tasters must buy a 2007 souvenir mug, $4, and tokens, $1 each; a taste of beer is one token and a full mug is four tokens. Crater Lake Soda Garden will offer unlimited, free, handcrafted root beer and other flavored sodas for minors and designated drivers. The dinner is $40 per person (includes barbecue dinner, a souvenir pint glass and eight beer coupons good for special Oregon beers not available at the main festival). The brunch is $15 per person (includes brunch, beer, T-shirt and kazoo).
