My husband and I recommend the Joseph House Inn, a half-block off Highway 395 in Bishop, Calif., the best B&B; we’ve experienced. This beautiful five-bedroom inn is set on 3 acres in a garden, designed with an artistic eye.
Myriam and her mother, Hilde, understand hospitality. They are charming and experienced with people who relish comfort at the end of a day — or a few days or weeks — of travel.
