WORLD IN BRIEF : PAKISTAN : Blast at Arms Dump Kills 8, Injures 50

An army ammunition dump in northern Pakistan exploded, killing eight, injuring 50 and showering missiles and bombs for miles around the sparsely populated countryside, officials said. There was no word on the cause of the explosion.
