Sheriff’s deputies are investigating the shooting of a 14-year-old boy who was wounded while riding his bicycle near 14600 Garden Road.
Investigators said the unidentified youth was riding his bicycle with a friend at 10:40 p.m. Saturday, when he was wounded in the leg by a shot from a pistol. The boy was taken to a local hospital for treatment.
Deputies searched the area for a gunman and a weapon, but did not find either.
